Faith's End
I found this trampled monarch butterfly near an overwintering site in Mexico, and found double meaning in its sad, dead form. It had faith that it would survive the winter to migrate in the spring, and didn't. And on a larger scale, I am losing faith that we will stop ourselves from driving these creatures to extinction.
