The Retirement Line
I saw in this abandoned brick building and row of dead lawnmowers a visual metaphor for how we are regarded by society at the end of our working years: no longer useful, taking up space, in gradual further decline, becoming invisible. They are still colorful, and with a little bit of work they could be fully productive again, but once sidelined, they're easy to forget.
